Role Overview
The Legal & Compliance Analyst will support RamSofts in-house legal and compliance functions working closely with the General Counsel Legal Officer and GRC Manager. The role involves hands-on execution across legal operations regulatory compliance audits governance and policy management with exposure to multiple jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks.
This role offers broad learning and growth across legal and compliance domains within a global healthcare software organization.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Responsibilities
- Organize maintain and manage litigation files legal records and matter trackers
- Perform preliminary reviews of legal documents to provide background and support for internal stakeholders
- Draft review and proofread notices correspondence forms and internal legal documentation
- Assist in customer discussions negotiations meetings and legal coordination including scheduling and documentation
- Support corporate governance activities including officer records resolutions and statutory filings
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of legal correspondence tickets emails and requests
Compliance & GRC Responsibilities
- Support the GRC Manager in maintaining an inventory of regulatory statutory industry and organizational compliance requirements
- Assist with policy and procedure development review implementation and updates
- Support internal readiness for audits including document preparation evidence collection and coordination with internal teams
- Participate in regulatory and compliance assessments related to new standards frameworks and market entry
- Assist in conducting internal audits and tracking remediation actions for audit observations
- Support compliance activities related to medical imaging software SaaS platforms and SaMD products
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with HR Finance Product Engineering IT Security and Development teams to support real-time compliance and regulatory queries
- Assist with preparation for external audits certifications customer due diligence and regulatory reviews
- Support compliance training coordination and awareness initiatives across teams
- Perform other legal and compliance-related duties as required
Qualifications & Experience
- Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution
- 25 years of experience in a law firm in-house legal team compliance function or regulated industry
- Exposure or interest in technology healthcare SaaS or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) environments
- Strong drafting documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate across departments
- Willingness to learn and work across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks
