About the team

The Product R&D team is responsible for delivering data-driven solutions in the supply chain planning space for verticals such as Retail Consumer Packaged Goods Life Sciences etc. This includes problems in thespace of forecasting optimization replenishment supply chain risks and recommendation systems. We combine deep technical engineering with an understanding of real operational needs to deliver practical and scalable solutions. You will contribute to the product that delights customers world-wide!

What you will do

• You are passionate about designing building testing and shipping large-scale software systems in a fast-paced environment but you can balance longer term issues such as maintainability scalability and quality.

• You have a strong interest in testing troubleshooting debugging problems integrating software end to end building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure excited about finding ways to automate and improve development and release processes while mentoring other developers.

• Youre fluent in Python object-oriented development and in the addition to working with modern data storage familiarity with Kubernetes docker and have hands-on experience with big data technologies. You have the ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies whether they are infrastructure or language or platform and easily adapt to change.

• You are a team player a quick starter and a problem solver. As well as comfortable talking requirements with product managers. You work well in a cross-functional team and can listen and contribute to discussions. Ideally provide readily available solutions while considering technical aspects effort and risk.

• Your primary focus is shipping large-scale data-driven software that drives customer value by building robust scalable and data-intensive systems

What we are looking for

• BE/BTech or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field with focus in software engineering and data-driven solutions.
• Total of 5 years industry experience with a minimum of 2 years experience in Python based backend product development and testing.
• Strong Python coding fundamentals clean modular and production-grade code
• Experience building and maintaining Python packages reusable modules and libraries
• Experience building REST / microservices in Python (FastAPI preferred). Familiarity with pandas NumPy and data manipulation.
• Strong background in writing automation scripts using PyTest or equivalent.
• Disciplined approach to software testing including unit and integration test as well as CI/CD.
• Ability to work in Linux environments and in the cloud with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes Argo Helm).
• Experience working with at least one major cloud technologies (AWS Azure or GCP)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and can easily articulate complex concepts in writing and speech.

Nice to have:

• Retail or broader supply chain domain exposure
• Familiarity with enterprise-grade release processes
• Familiarity with ML and GenAI (not mandatory)
