About the position
The Senior Research Support Officer is a pivotal member of the Professional and Administration Team in the School of Allied Health Human Services and Sport. Reporting to the Schools Senior Manager and working closely with the Associate Dean Research and Industry Engagement (ADRIE) this role is dedicated to providing high-level administrative support for the Schools research portfolio.
The position focuses on managing the administrative lifecycle of research activitiesfrom large-scale grants to smaller projectsensuring compliance with ethics requirements reporting obligations and financial close processes. Working collaboratively with senior academic staff researchers and central University teams the role ensures that all governance policy and procedural requirements are met efficiently and accurately.
This is a purely administrative role: the Senior Research Support Officer does not conduct research but plays a critical part in enabling research success by delivering expert administration and coordination. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled administrator with exceptional attention to detail strong organisational capability and the ability to navigate complex compliance frameworks.
