Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily production operations of the plant.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Responsible for daily plant operations as directed by the Plant Manager.
- Monitors operations for efficiency and safety ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Leads and directs the work of others.
- Manages and directs the operational policies objectives and initiatives.
- Maintains cleanliness of plant at all times and at end of shift.
- Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a plant operation or related environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree or college coursework preferred.
- Work well with others in a team; demonstrates leadership ability.
- Highly organized; superior time management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
- Safety conscience; detail oriented; able to multi-task.
- Good mechanical skills; knowledge of plant processes and equipment.
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to walk stand sit climb balance stoop kneel crawl & crouch.
- Frequently must push pull move or lift up to 100 lbs.
- Regularly required reach with hands and arms.
Work Environment
Job functions will be carried out in a plant environment.
