Job Title: Seasonal Remote Pilot
Worksite Location: Sentera (Client Intelligent Solutions Group)
Work Hours: Will work during daylight June/July may work overtime as daylight hours allow.
SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for operating Matrice series drones with Sentera sensors to collect imagery of agricultural fields and research trials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Plan coordinate and execute drone flights and data collection at customer field locations.
Plan coordinate and assist with data management and data delivery for customer projects.
Proactively communicates scheduling problems and project conflicts and presents alternate solutions.
Maintain and update project schedules for drone flights and data collections services.
Operate maintain and repair drone and sensor payload equipment.
Work closely with Sentera technical development team to test and utilize special and custom hardware and software products to support enterprise customer projects.
Participate in regular team meetings via MS Teams and an occasional client call.
Comply with Company policies and procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree or equivalent experience in an applicable technical field
0-2 years professional experience in digital or precision agriculture
General experience in agriculture preferred but not required
Skills/Abilities:
Strong computer and technical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Customer service oriented
Analytical and detail-oriented
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Maintain confidentiality of company information and data
Ability to work within a team or independently with a can-do attitude and willing to work until the job gets done
Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor/management
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS
Part 107 Certified Small Unmanned Aircraft Pilot is required
Valid drivers license
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit stand walk reach with hands and arms and use hands to finger handle or feel. The employee may occasionally be required to lift up to 50 pounds with arms extended. The vision requirements include close and distant vision. Must be willing to work on feet for 8 hours per day.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Travel as needed overnight travel not to exceed 50%
Will drive personal vehicle to field locations. Mileage will be reimbursed.
Will remotely pilot drones in field for daily job activities.
Outdoor environment flight operations outdoors in rural settings
General office environment Microsoft office and Slack messaging
Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the near future for this position.
*For a candidate to be considered they must have Part 107 Certified Small Unmanned Aircraft Pilot. Commercial drone flying experience is also required.
**This is the same position/manager as JP42564 so only new candidates will be considered.**
