What youll be doing

Reporting to the Senior Director Newcomer Client Strategy the Senior Manager Priority Segment Partnerships is responsible for working with internal partners and external stakeholders as a single point of contact to develop and lead strategic partnerships business development activities programs and offers to drive growth in CIBCs priority segments (Newcomers).

Youll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where youll spend 1-3 days per week on-site while other days will be remote. How youll succeed

  • Strategy - Conduct external market research to identify partnership opportunities and translate the research into insights to create a compelling business case and recommendation that shall inform and drive how we can build successful partnerships.
  • Analytics - Perform data analysis to support development and execution of key strategic partnership activities and performance.
  • Understand our clients and partner ecosystem - Identify refine implement and effectively execute on segment-focused partnership activities. Support the implementation new ways of generating business through referral programs partnerships alternative channels and community engagement. Work with the segment partners to address priority segment partnership needs and opportunities and recommend and influence the selection of effective sales strategies and tactics.
  • Relationship management- Act as an external-facing segment specialist in all activities as it relates to partnerships and business development. Provide follow up and reporting on all partnership and business development activities. Ensure that employees partners and leaders are well informed of the results and activities that drive success with a consistent communication plan for each group Prepare and present reports on significant trends and partnership outcomes.
  • Execute -Support additional projects or take lead on smaller projects as required including scoping business case building and execution. Work collaboratively with partners to maximize market opportunities overall growth and profitability.

  • Communication - Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to storyboard and develop whitepaper recommendations. You have a proven track record of creating materials shared at Executive Forums and are skillful in using Microsofts suite of products.
