Job Summary

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The candidate must possess demonstrated ability and professional and personal characteristics

necessary for establishing relationships and working effectively with school personnel and

members of the community. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively provide

leadership to diverse groups prioritize the workload and work with little supervision.

Possessing thorough knowledge of school division rules regulations and procedures and

knowledge of Virginia High School League rules and regulations is an essential component of

this position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited college or university with a Postgraduate Professional License with an endorsement in Administration and Supervision PreK-12 or hold a Masters Degree in Athletic Administration. The candidate must have at least five years of successful experience in secondary administration.
