Our PPD Laboratory Services team has a direct impact on improving patient health through the expertise of scientists industry thought-leaders and therapeutic experts. Discover Impactful Work
Provides focused program management services to the Quality Assurance organization (QA Labs) enabling business success across the Analytical Sciences Division. QA Labs oversees testing across a globally diverse organization and business units spanning bioanalytical vaccines CMC/GMP (small and large molecule) and central laboratory clinical enablement acrosssite-based organizations while respecting each sites unique business needs. Tactically oversees coordination and management of projects by monitoring status timelines and outcomes; strategicallyidentifiesnewimprovementsideas and as the primary liaison between internal clients and site leadersfacilitatingeffective information flow. Partners with QA management to ensure deliverables meet expectations and financial and timeline commitments.
A day in the Life:
- Identifyimprovement projects and initiatives.
- Drive projects to completion with measurable outcomes.
- Gather stakeholder input andfacilitateintegration of perspectives and ideas.
- Document meeting minutesalign ondecisions and translate outcomes intoactions.
- Createhigh qualitypresentations and communicate with impact balancingdetailand brevity.
Keys to Success:
Education
- Bachelors degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Experience
- Previousexperience that provides the knowledge skills and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 8 years).
- Insomecasesanequivalencyconsisting of acombinationof appropriateeducationtrainingand/or directlyrelatedexperience will beconsidered sufficient for anindividualtomeetthe requirements oftherole.
Knowledge SkillsandAbilities:
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry and strong business acumen.
- Familiarity with the contract testing business and clinical research/development.
- Expertise inbusiness analytics operations and process improvement.
- Excellentproblem solving judgment anddecision-makingskills.
- Strong verbal written and presentation abilities.
- Proven organizational and negotiation skills.
- Extensive project management knowledge and leadership.
- Understanding ofbasic budgeting and forecasting terms and definitions.
- Superior time management planning and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with laboratory requirements ICH guidelines USP requirements and FDA guidance.
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workload.
- Ability to work effectively with multilevel teams.
- Ability to thrive in afast paced undefined environment.
