We are recruiting for a UK Operations Manager to join the team at our Gloucester base. This will be an on-site role with the primary responsibility to ensure that the UK flight operations operates in the safest most efficient and customer focussed manner.
The role will involve effective utilisation of all training assets including aircraft simulators and instructional resources working closely with our trainees and the Training Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily planning and allocation of resources to support the flight school programme
- Managing and standardisation of the Operations Officers
- Ensuring all operations paperwork and reporting is completed timely and accurately
- Maintaining the operational software systems
- Liaising with other departments within the ATO
- Maintaining the tactical plan of hours flown and classes taught
- Working with internal and external contacts ranging from administrative to executive level
Qualifications :
- Previous Operations experience (minimum 5 years preferred)
- Previous experience working for an ATO (desirable)
- Previous experience in Operational software (Flightlogger and Aeroplanned desirable)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal with the ability to motivate and encourage staff
- Ability to concentrate and work in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information :
Salary: 45000 - 50000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week based on-site
