Were on the hunt for our nextBusiness Development Manager - On Premiseto deliver profitable sales growth through an outstanding customer experience for Lion and we promise this is a gig which will make you want to jump out of bed in the mornings & get cracking!

Reporting to our On Premise Sales Director and based in Wellington or the surrounding regions you will scout the Lower North Island for new business opportunities & secure these deals for Lion. Its going to take a lot of drive motivation & most importantly a huge amount of resilience not every opportunity will come to fruition thats the nature of it but for every setback you could come across an absolute winner!

This role is made for someone who:
Has the energy & motivation to keep going even when things get tough

Thrives on winning new business

Is curious & hungry for sales growth

Has the passion for our portfolio and creating epic relationships with new customers.

We need someone with:
Proven Sales and Negotiation experience and capability

A strong track record in lead creation

Experience coaching & mentoring teams & building capability

Strong relationship building skills from the very first interaction

Highly developed skills in contract negotiation to ensure mutually beneficial commercial outcomes

A growth mindset & the resilience to experience fail & learn
