The purpose of this role is to lead development and delivery high-impact learning solutions to meet strategic and operational business needs of the division. This includes managing supplier relationships overseeing course delivery and fostering a culture of continuous learning across the organization. Additionally this role leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive Culture strategy for GSSC. This entails collaborating with global teams to drive culture initiatives and integrate listening strategies to achieve impactful outcomes and support business results.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Learning
- Oversee planning and coordination of strategic learning programmes impacting multiple business areas in the division.
- Maintain and enhance learning platforms and processes to maximize learning experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers to monitor capability development trends.
- Create and manage a robust roadmap for capability development.
- Foster a strong learning culture within the business.
- Build learning offerings to increase capability in line with business needs.
- Maintain an understanding of contemporary learning systems software and tools for deployment.
- Manage a pool of high-quality learning professionals to deliver business learning needs ensuring a high standard of design and delivery.
Culture
- Assess the future capability requirements of the division translating this into learning opportunities and enabling effective change delivery managing governance activities and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Lead the implementation of Culture initiatives to deliver on our Employee Value Proposition enhance employee experience and differentiate QBE.
- Conduct employee listening activities to drive continuous improvement and positive change.
- Collaborate with internal teams to embed QBE Culture in various transformation programmes.
- Develop impactful employee communications to bring the strategy to life.
- Partner with global and local teams to deliver culture projects.
- Support the implementation of performance cycles and cultural norms across the organization
Work Experience:
Necessary Work Experience includes:
- Significant relevant experience.
Preferred Work Experience includes:
- Strong understanding of the latest development theory technology and suppliers.
- Experience of capability development in a large organisation.
- Leading and implementing Training and Development solutions.
- Development and implementation of people culture and capability initiatives.
- Consulting and delivery of leadership and learning solutions.
Qualifications:
Necessary Qualifications include:
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications include:
- Tertiary qualification in Adult Education / Organisational Development or equivalent.
