Role Overview-
We are hiring a Senior Marketing Automation & Operations expert to own Braze as a core production platform. This role is accountable for the stability scalability data integrity supporting the lifecycle marketing team and has commercial impact of all customer communications across channels.
Scope & Accountability-
- Own Braze end-to-end: canvas environments channels integrations permissions and dependencies
- Lead migration from legacy communication systems into Braze
- Centralize QA release control and change management to prevent broken journeys and bad triggers
- Ensure data hygiene PII compliance and attribute governance
- Enable teams to self-serve safely with clear standards and controls
Core Responsibilities-
- Operate event-driven multi-channel automation (Email SMS Push WhatsApp In-App Content Cards)
- Develop HTML/CSS emails (mobile-responsive dark-mode compatible)
- Design advanced segmentation using custom events attributes and Braze Query Builder (SQL)
- Perform data operations inside Braze via webhooks and User Update steps
- Own channel configuration & QA (rendering fallbacks localization delivery diagnostics)
- Maintain runbooks SOPs journey standards tagging & naming guidelines
- Provide Level 1 operational support & troubleshooting
Required Profile-
- Braze Expert / Architect-level certification (Level 4 or equivalent)
- 3-5 years in Marketing Automation / CRM / Lifecycle / Operations
- 3 years owning Braze as a platform not just campaigns
- Strong hands-on experience with HTML CSS Liquid templating APIs webhooks JSON
- Experience in regulated or high-scale environments (fintech/payments strongly preferred)

- Zero critical production incidents from automation
- Clear documentation and knowledge
- Clean trusted data powering segmentation and journeys
- Faster launches without QA regressions
- Measurable impact on activation retention and conversion
