Job Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced SAP IS Retail Record to report Consultant responsible for designing configuring and supporting end-to-end financial Record to Report processes in an SAP Retail landscape ensuring accurate general ledger subledger asset accounting and statutory reporting.
- The candidate must have strong financial accounting and controlling concepts (general ledger sub-ledger accounting fixed assets cost centers profit centers allocations) including familiarity with IFRS/GAAP reporting requirements and how they are supported in SAP.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Design and configure SAP FI/CO R2R processes including general ledger accounts receivable accounts payable asset accounting bank accounting and financial closing setup in a retail environment.
- Integration of R2R with IS Retail modules (MM SD CO) covering retail-specific flows such as goods movements markdowns inventory valuation and store operations.
- Prepare functional specifications for enhancements interfaces reports and R2R automations and collaborate with technical teams through development and testing.
- Drive financial master data relevant to R2R (chart of accounts cost centers profit centers GL mappings financial statement versions).
- Perform and support unit integration and user acceptance testing for R2R processes including defect analysis fixing and regression testing.
- Strong financial accounting and controlling concepts (general ledger sub-ledger accounting fixed assets cost centers profit centers allocations) Familiarity with IFRS/GAAP reporting requirements and how they are supported in SAP.
