Overview

Position Overview

At Foundation Building Materials (FBM) the Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition is a hands-on people-focused leader responsible for driving the strategy execution and continuous improvement of the Talent Acquisition function across FBM and UDHG. This role is designed for an emerging leader who is resourceful creative and execution-oriented with the ambition to scale a function and the discipline to measure and communicate impact through data and analytics. This leader will partner closely with HR leadership field operations and senior stakeholders to deliver scalable recruiting solutions strengthen talent pipelines and build a modern metrics-driven Talent Acquisition function that supports growth integration and long-term organizational success.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  1. Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and execute a scalable Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with FBMs growth plans and operational needs
  • Balance strategic leadership with hands-in involvement in recruiting for critical or hard-to-fill roles
  • Translate business objectives into practical actionable recruiting plans across branch and corporate functions

  1. Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead coach and develop a team of Talent Acquisition professionals fostering accountability creativity and continuous improvement
  • Build a culture of ownership urgency and service within the recruiting team
  • Identify future talent needs within the TA function and play an active role in hiring and onboarding new team members

  1. Stakeholder Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HR leaders Department Heads and field leadership on talent market dynamics hiring strategies and workforce planning
  • Set clear expectations with hiring managers and ensure consistent high-quality recruiting practices across the organization
  • Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks in the hiring process

  1. Employer Branding & Recruitment Marketing
  • Champion FBMs employer brand and ensure consistent messaging across all candidate touchpoints
  • Drive creative sourcing and recruitment marketing initiatives locally and nationally to include social media job postings referrals and external events (e.g. career fairs)
  • Continuously test and refine sourcing strategies to improve candidate flow and quality

  1. Data Analytics & Process Optimization
  • Own Talent Acquisition metrics and dashboards including time-to-fill cost-per-hire quality of hire source effectiveness and candidate experience indicators
  • Use data and analytics to identify trends diagnose issues and clearly communicate progress and ROI to leadership
  • Partner with HR and systems teams to optimize ATS usage reporting accuracy and recruiting workflows (iCIMS experience a plus)

  1. Candidate Experience & Compliance
  • Ensure a consistent inclusive and high-quality candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws internal policies and best practices across all recruiting activities

  1. Miscellaneous

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • 7 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or recruiting including leadership of team-lead responsibilities
  • Demonstrated success leading high-volume recruiting teams in fast-paced operationally driven environments
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate recruiting data into actionable insights and executive-level narratives
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders challenge assumptions and drive change without formal authority
  • Experience building or scaling recruiting processes and teams during periods of growth
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technology; iCIMS strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting field operations branch networks or distributed workforces strongly preferred

Compensation

The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience qualifications and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

  • Base: $125000 - $150000 per Year
  • Bonus: 20% Target Bonus
  • Total Compensation (Base Bonus): The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $150000 - $200000.
  • Equity: This role is not eligible for equity opportunities awards or grants
