Role Summary:Beach Park restaurant Barbacks welcome guests with accurate efficient and friendly service when processing alcoholic beverages.
Duties:
Must be willing to accept the most effective role as delegated by management.
Makes guest service and guest satisfaction a priority in every aspect of the job.
Receives drink orders fromguest.
Provides orders with a sense of urgency.
Verifies that guests meet minimum age requirements for alcohol purchases.
Runs and balances a cash register in an honest organized efficientsafeand courteous manner.
Serves alcoholic drinks to guests following standard recipes and policies and procedures.
Completesan accurateopening and closing inventory ofproduct.
Arrangesbottles to make an attractive display behind the bar.
Maintains cleanliness of bar and surrounding areasutilizingsanitation procedures.
Collects payment and reconciling changefundatendof events.
Assistbartenders withmaintainingdaily inventoryand neededsupplies.
Mustmaintaina clean organized work area and complete end-of-shift cleaning duties.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old (Texas)
Mustpossessa high levelof integrity.
Mustpossessbasic math skills to passBeachPark math/cashiering test.
Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers and TABC Certificate.
Physical Requirements:
Walkingto and from your entire assigned area and stairs when necessary.
Standing for extended periods of time.
Must be able to withstand direct and indirect exposure to sun and heat for extended periods of time.
Must be able tolift upto 50lbs.
Mustfrequentlyuse armshandsand fingers to reach and handle tools and controls.
