About the Department

At Cloudflare our mission is to build a better Internet. To do that our Account Executives Business Development Representatives Solutions Engineers and Customer Success teams operate as a single unit. We help customers adopt a security and performance posture that transforms their digital presence.

The Sales team is unique: we solve complex technical challenges for global enterprises which in turn generates the revenue necessary to provide free security services to millions of users non-profits and journalists worldwide.

Location: Sweden (remote)


The Role: Commercial Account Executive

Having mastered the fundamentals of the SDR/BDR cycle and ideally gained experience in Field Sales you are ready to take ownership of a high-growth territory. As an Account Executive for the Nordics egion you will drive new business by identifying and qualifying Enterprise-level opportunities.

This role is designed for a sales professional who is technically curious and commercially sharp. You will be expected to engage with stakeholders across the organization - from Network Operations and Infrastructure teams to C-suite executives - to demonstrate how Cloudflare solves modern connectivity and security hurdles.


Core Responsibilities

  • Territory Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive account plan for the Benelux region to achieve revenue targets.

  • Full-Cycle Sales: Manage the entire sales process from initial prospecting and qualification to complex contract negotiations and closing.

  • Value Articulation: Translate Cloudflares technical capabilities into compelling business value propositions.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure retention and continuous growth.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Solutions Engineers and Customer Success to ensure a seamless experience and high customer satisfaction.

  • Travel: Engage with clients and partners on-site as needed (typically < 25%).

Requirements

  • Language: Native or professional fluency in Swedish and English (any other Nordic language very welcome)

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of direct B2B sales experience. A background in high-volume outbound prospecting (SDR/BDR) combined with Field sales exposure is highly preferred.

  • Technical Aptitude: A solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS Routing Security) and how the Internet works. A degree in CS Engineering or MIS is a significant plus.

  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex technical discussions.

  • Drive: An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced evolving environment.
