Job Summary

Resourcing Business Partners are a critical operational leadership role within Group Resourcing and own full accountability for hiring and The Talent Acquisition Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing executing and continuously improving talent acquisition strategies that support Capitas transformation agenda.
This position drives high-volume recruitment for BPO operations champions digital and process innovation and ensures compliance with employment equity and BBBEE requirements. The role manages stakeholder relationships recruitment platforms and leads a high-performing TA team to deliver best-in-class hiring outcomes.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Transformation

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with Capitas business goals and transformation agenda.
  • Lead the integration of digital tools AI and automation into recruitment processes to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Champion diversity equity and inclusion (ED&I) in all hiring practices.
  • Represent TA in executive forums and drive change management initiatives across the business.
  • Build strong relationships with Operations HR and business leaders to anticipate future workforce needs.

Volume Recruitment & Operational Excellence

  • Manage high-volume recruitment campaigns for BPO operations ensuring timely delivery of large ramp batches.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines using multiple sourcing channels.
  • Oversee recruitment processes including assessments vetting and onboarding for large-scale hiring.
  • Ensure recruitment processes are scalable efficient and compliant with operational requirements.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with business leaders and HR to deliver recruitment solutions that meet client SLAs and business objectives.
  • Foster relationships with external partners suppliers and regulatory bodies.

Data & Reporting

  • Leverage data and market insights to drive strategic hiring decisions.
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics including time to fill quality of hire diversity hiring and candidate experience.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to recruitment policy employment equity and BBBEE requirements.
  • Manage recruitment budgets and supplier relationships.

Team Leadership

  • Manage coach and develop the TA team to build high-performing professionals.
  • Oversee talent management succession planning and leadership development within the TA function.

Key Deliverables

Transformation: Implementation of digital AI and automation initiatives in TA; measurable improvements in process efficiency and candidate experience; successful change management and stakeholder buy-in.

Volume Recruitment: Timely and successful delivery of high-volume BPO recruitment campaigns; achievement of hiring targets and ramp-up deadlines.

Diversity & Inclusion: Achievement of ED&I targets in recruitment outcomes; positive candidate and stakeholder feedback.

Compliance: Full compliance with employment equity BBBEE and recruitment policy; accurate and timely reporting.

Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback from Operations HR and external partners; achievement of client SLAs.

Team Performance: High engagement and retention rates within the TA team; achievement of development goals.

Data & Reporting: Accurate tracking and reporting of KPIs: time to fill quality of hire diversity metrics candidate NPS cost per hire.

Professional Know-how:

Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field (essential).
  • Postgraduate qualification in Talent Acquisition HR or similar (preferred).

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Talent Acquisition with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in high-volume recruitment within a BPO or similar environment (essential).
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering large-scale operationally complex talent acquisition projects.
  • Experience with recruitment platforms/job portals (e.g. LinkedIn Career Junction Pnet).
  • Experience in building and promoting employer brand EVP and social value proposition.
  • Project and programme management experience.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of recruitment trends policy and candidate engagement.
  • Expertise in stakeholder engagement project management and supplier management.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment equity BBBEE and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to drive transformation and continuous improvement in TA.
  • Effective multi-channel communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic planning and digital transformation expertise.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to develop business cases and ROI analysis.

Working Relationships

Internal: Operations HR Senior Leadership Finance IT and other business lines

External: Recruitment suppliers candidates regulatory bodies and clients.

Working Model

Primarily office-based with some domestic and international travel required.
