POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Accountant is responsible for delivering high-quality accounting services to a diverse client base based out of the United States (U.S). The position focuses on accurate financial reporting and client support while working collaboratively within a team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a U.S. based firm that has established its presence in Mumbai India. As part of our growing India team you will gain exposure to the operations standards and expectations of US clients and collaborate closely with our US-based teams. - Posting transactions and maintaining general ledgers
- Preparing bank and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close and preparation of basic financial reports.
- Support client requests and communicate effectively to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and firm standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Master the firms software especially department-specific software.

- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written/oral communication and client service orientation.
- A willingness and ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Ability to prioritize and focus in a high-speed multitasking environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Required: - Bachelors degree in accounting finance or equivalent experience.
- 24 years of US accounting experience (public accounting or outsourced services a plus).
Preferred: - Active CPA/CA license or working towards a CPA/CA
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks NetSuite or similar).
WORKING CONDITIONS - Office Location Goregaon East Mumbai
- Work Days/Timings Monday to Friday (12:00 noon-9:00 pm) (Hybrid).
- Will work beyond normal working hours and on weekends when necessary.
- Travel to US offices/clients may be required during business needs.
