Head of IT & Digital Transformation

Our client is a major healthcare provider based in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.

They are seeking an innovative and worldly Head of IT & Digital Transformation with a strong track record of driving technological change and continuous improvement in the healthcare sector.

In this role you will work closely with executives clinical and operational teams and external partners to modernize IT systems implement digital solutions and lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine deep IT leadership experience with a solid understanding of healthcare operations regulatory environments and change management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the overall IT and digital transformation strategy aligning technology initiatives with business and clinical objectives.
• Identify opportunities for digital innovation and operational improvement.
• Oversee implementation and optimization of core healthcare systems such as HIS EMR/EHR ERP CRM and digital platforms.
• Drive large-scale digital transformation programs including system modernization data integration and automation initiatives.
• Establish IT governance cybersecurity standards and data privacy controls in line with healthcare regulations.
• Manage IT budgets vendor relationships and technology roadmaps.
• Lead and develop internal IT teams and external implementation partners.
• Ensure high availability reliability and scalability of IT infrastructure and applications.
• Support change management user adoption and training programs across clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Monitor emerging technologies and assess their relevance to healthcare delivery and patient experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership digital transformation and/or enterprise systems implementation.
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry or healthcare-related technology environments is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale IT and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems data standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing complex IT landscapes vendors and multi-year transformation roadmaps.
• Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity data governance and compliance best practices
• Bachelors degree in information technology computer science engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
