NSW Resources are seeking a results-drivenManager Projectsto lead high-priority initiatives. Within the Resources Regulator this role will drive the implementation of significant changes to the Certificate of Competency process. This is a unique opportunity to deliver a highly visible project that is critical to industry and regulatory integrity.

About the Role

As Manager Projects youll be responsible for:

  • Leading the planning coordination and delivery of key reforms ensuring alignment with statutory requirements administered by the Regulator.
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders and industry representatives throughout the project.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to analyse current business processes and implement improvements that strengthen compliance and risk management.
  • Managing project governance and reporting providing regular updates on progress risks and achievements to senior leadership and the Executive Leadership Team.

What Youll Bring

We need someone who can deliver results right away with:

  • Extensive experience in project management and delivery ideally in government regulatory or legislative environments.
  • Experience in learning new legislation frameworks quickly and undertaking analysis including interpreting directives and applying them in operational contexts.
  • Strong critical thinking skillsand the ability to translate complex reform objectives into actionable plans that deliver the needs of the business and their customers.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with a track record of building trust and driving collaboration across diverse groups.
  • Leadership capability with experience managing teams and delivering outcomes under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and written skills with the ability to influence and inform at all levels.
