Administrative Coordinator

What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. Amgen is looking for an administrative professional to join our team as an Administrative Coordinator. The role of the Administrative Coordinator (AC) will be primarily focused in supporting the US Value and Access teams with coordination of activities surrounding marketed products and early pipeline assets.

  • Managing multiple calendars and scheduling meetings
  • Booking domestic and international travel arrangements utilizing company guidelines
  • Timely preparation and processing of expense reports
  • Assisting with special projects
  • Organizing meetings booking rooms including logistics catering and equipment needs
  • Managing the administrative aspects of relationships with contracted experts and vendors
  • Arranging for guest speakers including contracts travel and venue
  • Renewing professional memberships before expiration
  • Timely registering for conferences congresses and seminars
  • Arranging ancillary meetings during major conferences
  • Assisting with preparation of presentations and meeting agendas
  • Providing backup support to additional departmental admins
  • Performing other administrative duties

Basic Qualifications:

Associates degree and 2 years of Administrative experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 4 years of Administrative experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in biopharma industry
  • Experienced and proficient with all current Amgen technologies and platforms
  • Ability to liaise with cross-functional team members and effectively communicate with internal and external business partners
  • 5 years of experience in an administrative support role supporting large teams at different levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment and work in teams
  • Discretion in dealing with proprietary information
  • Exceptional at managing multiple calendars including coordination across multiple time zones
  • Ability to prioritize projects of greater urgency and importance
  • Outstanding communication skills both oral and written
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent travel and meeting planning skills
  • Experience providing administrative support to remote staff
  • Helpful can-do attitude with a solution-oriented approach
  • Flexible resourceful polite and personable team player
  • Skilled at remaining calm under pressure

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $70085.00 to $88142.00 US. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant skills experience and qualifications.
