Job Description
- Manage family law matters from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings motions discovery settlement agreements judgments and trial briefs
- Represent clients in court mediations and negotiations
- Conduct legal research and stay current on family law developments
- Communicate directly with clients opposing counsel and court personnel
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver high-quality work product
- Travel to courts and offices throughout Southern California as needed
- Maintain approximately 140 billable hours per month
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active California State Bar license in good standing
- 1 years of legal experience
- Strong writing research and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research platforms
