Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team in Johannesburg South South Africa. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations including managing a team of technicians developing maintenance plans and ensuring that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the efficient operation of all equipment and facilities. - Manage a team of maintenance technicians including training scheduling and performance evaluations. - Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify potential issues and develop solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. - Plan and coordinate maintenance activities including preventive maintenance corrective maintenance and emergency repairs. - Oversee the maintenance budget and ensure that all expenses are within budgetary guidelines. - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities including equipment maintenance logs work orders and inventory. - Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving measures. - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. - Stay informed about new developments and advancements in maintenance technology and techniques. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering industrial engineering or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role. - Experience in managing a team of maintenance technicians. - Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Proficient in using maintenance management software. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. - Willingness to work flexible hours and be on call for emergencies.
