About the Role
As Manager Grounds Maintenance Program youll hold end-to-end accountability for program leadership governance operational performance compliance workforce strategy and financial sustainability. Youll lead a multi-site service while growing capability quality and impactbalancing commercial performance with strong social outcomes.
Youll operate with professional autonomy and collaborate closely with the Community Programs Manager and senior stakeholders to ensure the program is safe compliant effective and positioned for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Program Development: Set strategy and growth plans; expand services and workforce; drive scale effectiveness and sustainability aligned to LCH priorities and social impact framework.
- Governance Compliance & Risk: Ensure compliance with WHS industrial relations safeguarding/child & youth safe requirements organisational policies and quality frameworks.
- Operational Oversight: Maintain consistent service quality and client satisfaction across multiple sites.
- Workforce Leadership & Capability: Lead workforce planning recruitment supervision and training pathways.
- Financial & Resource Management: Oversee budgets pricing tenders and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships: Build relationships with service providers contractors and training organisations.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Provide performance reporting and lead service improvement initiatives.
Selection Criteria
- Senior leadership experience in program operations or service management.
- Ability to lead complex multi-disciplinary programs.
- Strong understanding of compliance governance and risk management.
- Experience supporting people experiencing barriers to employment.
- High-level capability in strategic planning and operational oversight.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- National Police Criminal History Check (satisfactory to the Archdiocese of Hobart).
- Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Tasmania).
- Current unrestricted Drivers Licence
