We have created an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Manager Strategy & M&A to join our Growth Strategy & Innovation team and play a key role in shaping the future of the business.
Reporting to the Executive Director Growth Strategy & Innovation this role will focus on executing our strategic framework delivering our mergers and acquisitions (M&A) agenda and driving value across our existing contract portfolio.
This is a high-impact role suited to a commercially astute professional who enjoys working across strategy finance operations and executive leadership.
The role
As Senior Manager Strategy & M&A you will:
- Manage multiple M&A projects with a strong focus on transaction execution
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify and assess potential acquisition targets
- Develop high-quality advocacy materials including strategic rationales and presentations for CGA APAC and Group stakeholders
- Lead financial modelling valuation and commercial analysis
- Add value to underperforming or complex contracts by working collaboratively with operational commercial and legal teams
The Person
You are a confident commercially minded leader with strong analytical capability and the ability to influence at senior levels.
You will bring:
- A degree in Finance Accounting or a related discipline
- 35 years relevant experience in strategy M&A corporate finance or a similar environment
- Strong financial modelling valuation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to produce high-quality impactful documentation for internal and external audiences
- Strong project management capability and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
