The Dahl Auto Museum in downtown La Crosse offers visitors a great opportunity to view a wide variety of restored classic vehicles hood monuments automobile history and more! The Museum is open Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays 10am-4pm so we are seeking a candidate to work approximately 9:30am-4pm on those days. Additionallywith events held in the Museum there are other opportunities to pick up additional hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the museum
• Answer phone calls to the museum
• Guide tours through the museum for guests or answer their questions as they explore in the museum
• Maintain the cleanliness of the museum (dusting of vehicles etc.)
• Assist with the coordination and set up for events held in the museum
• Respond to online inquiries and emails in a timely manner
• Educate others about the Museumthrough social media posting and public programs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent listening/communication skills outgoing and positive personality
• Ability to drive a manual transmission preferred
• Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment
• Professional appearance
• General knowledge of vehicles
• Organizational skills
• Clean driving record and valid drivers license
