Job Summary

We are currently taking applications/resumes for an Experienced Estimator for the Paincourtville LA and surrounding areas.

About the Role

Estimator:

Owning bid strategy pricing and risk evaluation

Leading the estimating process from pursuit through submission

Making go / no-go recommendations on public projects

Reviewing plans specs scopes and subcontractor coverage

Mentoring and developing junior estimators

Partnering with project management to ensure clean handoffs

What Were Looking For

8 years of estimating and/or preconstruction experience

Experience with public entity work (vertical government municipal DOT utilities schools etc.) preferred

Strong judgment around risk competitiveness and margin

Comfortable saying no to bad work

Experience leading or mentoring others

Organized decisive and accountable
