Distribution Clerk
The Distribution Clerk supports the daily administrative and customer service functions within the distribution center. This role manages incoming communication to the shared mailbox ensuring timely and professional responses to both internal and external inquiries. The clerk assists with order tracking shipment status updates and coordination across departments to resolve issues efficiently
Core Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills attention to detail and an ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Primary responsibilities include:
Inbox Management: Monitor and manage the shared email inbox providing timely accurate and professional responses to both internal and external inquiries.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Shipping Receiving and Inventory teams to resolve customer and internal requests ensuring a seamless workflow.
ERP System Support: Accurately update ERP transactions generate reports and maintain shipment records as needed. Full training on relevant systems (including SAP) will be provided.
Inventory Support: Assist with cycle counts reconciliation processes and order documentation to maintain inventory integrity.
Administrative Duties: Provide comprehensive administrative support including report generation filing communication tracking and general office organization.
Process Ownership: Take initiative and ownership of all assigned inquiries and tasks ensuring resolution from start to finish with a high degree of accuracy and dependability.
Other Responsibilities: Perform additional duties as assigned by management or supervision to support overall team success.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving logistics or a similar role within a warehouse or distribution environment.
Experience using ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
Demonstrated customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong cross-functional communication abilities.
Forklift certification/experience and cycle counting experience are preferred but not required.
Excellent written communication skills and professionalism in email etiquette are essential.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment demonstrating reliability and adaptability.

The estimated pay range for this position is $20-21. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors such as skills experience and work location.
