Medcor is currently looking for a Full-Time Registered Nurse to provide high-quality clinical care and administrative support in an employer-based clinic setting in Los Angeles CA. The clinic provides occupational health and urgent care services for a workplace population. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday; day shift. This candidate will also need to be flexible and be able to cover other shifts as needed (overnights/weekends).
The rate of pay for this role is $57.14 per hour. Full benefits are also offered!
***Successful candidates will possess solid clinical skills have at least two years experience in Occupational Health Emergency Department Urgent Care or applicable experience.***
A typical day in the life of a Medcor Nurse:
- Provide superior customer service to clinic patients and Medcors client
- Document using state-of-the-art electronic medical software
- Treat injuries and illnesses according to Medcors evidence-based medicine protocols
- Respond to medical emergencies
- Administer screening and testing
- Provide wellness education
- Assist with daily clinic operations including clerical IT medical supply management and medical equipment maintenance
- Assist with Workers Compensation claim initiation (FYI not case management) and OSHA record-keeping
You Must
- Have valid unrestricted California RN license
- Have a valid Basic Life Support certification (AHA or ARC)
- Have a positive and outgoing personality
- Be good at prioritizing and multitasking
- Be willing to go above and beyond to give excellent customer service
- Love people and giving them the best care humanly possible
You Should
- Be comfortable working alone or independently in a clinic environment
- Have a minimum of 2 years field experience
- Be able to follow processes and procedures with excellence
- Be proficient with Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and documenting using an EMR
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
