Job Summary

The People Partner will provide practicaltimelysupportadviceand direction to the Afrika Tikkun workforce on the full life cycle of HR activities. Activities and support include general Human Resource support Talent Acquisition and management Staff Relations and Administration support HR policy and procedures interpretation Performance Management support and employee relations as well as compensation and benefits practices to the organisations business units. The incumbent will be facilitating and coordinating best HR practices in employee engagement activities and responsible for providing a sound industrial relations service to the organisation as well as advising Line Management on the application of the organisations disciplinary and grievance procedures thus ensuring harmonious Employee Relations are maintained within all business units of the organisation.


Required Skills:

Employee Benefits Audit :

  • Conduct regular audits on Employee Benefits and find better service offerings for the organisation and cost saving strategies.
  • Conduct regular audits on payroll system to ensure that employees contributionsand deductions align with benefit statements.
  • Communicate benefits information clearly and effectively to employees ensuring engagement and understanding.
  • Coordinate and manage short-term and long-term disability claims in collaboration with insurance providers and medical professionals.
  • Act as a liaison between employees healthcare providers insurance carriers and internal departments to ensure a smooth process.

Succession Planning:

  • Proactively engage in supporting the development of the organisational capabilities of the future through collaborating and delivering initiatives aligned with the People & Culture plan related to performance management leadership engagement wellbeingtransformationand continuous improvement.

Performance Management & Appraisals:

  • Track and manage the Performance Management componentsin order tomaximize employee performance. Ensure that performance reviews are carried out asrequired.
  • Ongoing reinforcement of performance management as a tool to support performance and to provide line management with support and guidance to effect this.
  • Filing of signed reviews in Personnel files.
  • Facilitate the development and retention of staff through the creation and monitoring of Individual Plans for employees and report on progress.
  • Manage and support all Performance Improvement Planprocesses.
  • Adviseassiststaff and manage the day-to-day issues and/or other ad-hoc projects.

Employee Wellness &HR Protocols:

  • Implementation of staff wellness programs in collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate wellness campaigns workshops health screenings fitness challenges and educational seminars.
  • Support a culture of well-being by integrating wellness into workplace practices and leadership strategies.

Forums:

  • Managing compliance at Communication Forums.
