Hire Resolves client in the Logistics Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Fleet Manager to join their team in Johannesburg Gauteng.

Responsibilities:

Drivers timesheets: collect at the end of the shift analyze loads and standing time
Update faults on board in the workshop daily
Truck decal and cleanliness inspection
Monitor Drivers
- Monitor driver PDP
- Query poor performance from drivers
- Load performances to be recorded on a spreadsheet.
Liaise with the workshop regarding the status of trucks
Monthly reports
Employing new drivers
Do inspections on trucks after work has been done.
Test trucks after maintenance has been done
Dispatch loads to clients - around 200 loads per day
Schedule trucks with workshop and dispatch for maintenance

Requirements:

Code 14 drivers license
Experience in driving trucks
Qualified Diesel Mechanic
Must have experience in fixing trucks or at least looking at truck maintenance
Fleet management
Working hours will be from 06:30 am to 17:00 pm or until the last truck has come home
