Hospital: HCA Houston Medical Center Location: Address:1313 Hermann Dr Unit: 6 South Building: South Tower General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 32 Patient Ratios : 1:5 and 1:6 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Nurse techs and unit secretary Type of equipment : bedside telemetry Documentation system:Meditech Scheduling requirements: modified self-scheduling every other weekend Floating policy: will be required to float to another MS unit and ED holds if needed Patient Experience requirements: be familiar with AIDET and hourly rounding white boards Hospital Specifics- Certifications: BLS ACLS preferred Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: Med surg experience and excellent customer service skills Advanced skills needed: ACLS and telemetry experience Procedures performed on unit: Certifications Required: BLS Dress Code: (Required uniform) Royal blue scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.
