About the Role:
This senior-level role is designed for an accomplished Trust & Estate litigator who will take a lead position in handling complex and sensitive disputes. You will work closely with high-net-worth individuals senior citizens families fiduciaries and beneficiaries providing strategic counsel across a broad range of trust probate and elder financial abuse matters.
In addition to managing your own caseload you will play a key role in mentoring junior attorneys contributing to practice development and strengthening the firm s Trust & Estate Litigation presence across the region. The position offers both autonomy and support allowing you to practice at a high level while benefiting from firmwide resources and cross-practice collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Represent senior citizens and their families in financial elder abuse litigation
- Represent trustees executors administrators and beneficiaries in trust and probate litigation including:
- Will and trust contests based on lack of capacity undue influence or fraud
- Claims involving negligent management of assets
- Failure to account or inadequate accountings
- Co-trustee disputes
- Removal and surcharge actions
- Breach of fiduciary duty including lack of impartiality self-dealing and secret profits
- Supervise and mentor associates and contribute to practice development initiatives
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the State Bar of California
- Minimum of 8 years of Trust & Estate litigation experience
- Demonstrated interest in advising clients on a broad range of Trusts & Estates issues
- Partial portable book of business preferred
- Strong analytical negotiation consulting and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent reputation for integrity and collegiality with both the bench and bar
Compensation:
Compensation for senior attorneys is negotiated based on experience expected production and business development. The package includes:
- Estimated base salary range: $225000 $275000 per year
- Incentive compensation: 10% 20% of fees paid based on performance and contribution
