Job Summary

Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Client: Main Contractor
Location: Dublin (project-based)
Sector: Commercial & Residential
Essentials: Relevant third-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering; minimum 6 years experience in mechanical engineering delivery ideally within commercial and/or complex residential projects; strong technical knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems; previous main contractor experience preferred.

Due to continued expansion the company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the team on Dublin-based projects supporting the delivery of mechanical systems on technically demanding life sciences and residential developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Systems Delivery:
Take responsibility for the design coordination implementation and oversight of mechanical systems including HVAC and plumbing across assigned projects.
Design Coordination & Collaboration:
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure mechanical systems meet the stringent technical regulatory and operational requirements of life science facilities and residential developments.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Ensure all mechanical works are delivered to a high standard maintaining quality control and strict adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.
Health & Safety Oversight:
Support and promote best-practice health and safety standards on site in line with company and statutory requirements.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
Maintain a strong client-focused approach supporting clear communication coordination and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
