About the role
As a Claims Officer you will ensure employees receive the workers compensation benefits theyre entitled to under the current workers compensation legislation.
Youll take ownership of administering workers compensation leave and payments through the departments payroll system ensuring accuracy timeliness and a seamless experience for injured employees. Beyond the technical work youll play an important part in their recovery journey by providing compassionate and proactive case management support.
Youll also manage a portfolio of lowrisk workplace injury cases guiding employees through the process with clarity and care while helping the organisation meet its obligations and maintain a safe supportive workplace.

Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires as long as you remain in a nonchild-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.
