We are seeking a Service-Learning Coordinator to play a key role in embedding coordinating and strengthening meaningful service-learning opportunities across the School.

About this role:

The Service-Learning Coordinator supports the operational administrative and developmental aspects of Shores service-learning programs. Working closely with the Head of Service Learning Housemasters staff and external partners you will help ensure programs are well-coordinated compliant and aligned with the Schools mission and values.

This role involves regular engagement with community organisations supporting student participation coordinating events maintaining records and data and communicating the impact of service learning across the School community.

Days and hours will be discussed with the successful applicant however will be a 0.6 term time position.

To be successful you will have:

  • Experience coordinating community service-learning or engagement programs ideally in an education or not-for-profit setting
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and events
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students staff parents and community partners
  • A genuine commitment to student development and character formation through service
  • The ability to work collaboratively adapt to change and maintain professionalism in a busy school environment
  • An understanding of or willingness to learn compliance risk management and child-safety requirements
