The Department of Psychology at Arizona State University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience with an anticipated start date of August 16 2026.
We seek applicants with expertise in cognitive computational or behavioral neuroscience broadly defined whose research involves human and/or non-human systemsand ideally bridges both empirically or theoretically. The successful candidates work should complement and expand the departments existing strengths developing innovative approaches to uncovering the mechanisms that underlie fundamental psychological processes. Areas of interest include (but are not limited to): attention and perception motivation and decision making learning memory emotion and motor control.
Responsibilities include establishing a productive and visible research program mentoring graduate students contributing to undergraduate and graduate teaching and providing service to the department university and profession.
