We are currently looking for a Senior Planning & Scheduling Engineer in the framework of an EPC Hydrogen Project.
The mission is to support project execution planning and project control to meet requirements in terms of schedule milestones and progress while ensuring full transparency through accurate reporting. You will support the Project Manager in Project Execution Strategy decisions and structure all activities from start of work to project completion.
Working closely with the Project Manager Project Engineer Site Manager and discipline leads you will be responsible for:
Assisting in the planning of project execution and in the control of the project to meet schedule requirements (deadlines milestones progress)
Supporting the Project Manager in Project Execution Strategy decisions from a planning and controls perspective
Structuring and sequencing all project activities from start of work to end of project
Providing transparency regarding deadlines and progress through reliable schedule tools and reporting
Preparing up-to-date accurate and consistent reporting for internal and client needs
Leading the measurement/quantification of materials required for production within defined time periods
Analyzing equipment downtime to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies impacting the production process
Monitoring collecting and entering progress data from subcontractors
Collaborating with Construction staff to define schedule requirements and work sequences aligned with constructability studies
Developing and maintaining regular scheduling deliverables including (but not limited to) look-ahead schedules manpower curves project reports and client reports
Ensuring production operations start at the planned locations and planned times
Observing operations progress on site and recording progress properly
Comparing recorded progress versus plans and measuring deviations
Advising corrective actions to minimize the negative impacts of deviations
Feeding back progress and lessons learned to improve future planning accuracy
Requirements
15 years of experience in scheduling / planning in an international EPC or industrial environment
Expert in MS Project and Primavera
Strong optimization mindset and continuous improvement approach
Proven ability to deliver accurate reliable and consistent schedule tools and data
Very strong coordination skills to interface effectively with Project Manager Project Engineer Site Manager and discipline teams
Fluent in English
Strong computer literacy
