Job Summary

We are hiring an interesting and gifted mid-level Frontend Engineer to design develop and maintain exciting technology experiences that serves our customers and internal teams. Youll be working in a cross-functional team along side other engineers.

As a Frontend Engineer you will be working on the GoLemon mobile app as well as web experiences that power other product suites and empower our teams internally.

The ideal candidate is skilled curious and with a great understanding of React and Javascript. Experience building mobile applications with React Native is a plus.

Key responsibilities

Develop new user-facing features with a delightful user experience by converting designs to near-pixel-perfect code implementation
Contribute to grooming and offer informed opinions on technical and/or non-technical requirements
Provide technical guidance for junior engineers on the team via technical specification documents PR reviews
Maintain and improve technical processes. Also identify issues via testing and monitoring
Review specifications and code submissions and conduct thorough testing to maintain code quality
Write clean and maintainable code following established programming principles (e.g single-responsibility and DRY principles) and paradigms (e.g modular programming OOP)
Ensure your code is well-tested and covers the most practical edge cases
Ensure your feature implementation is tested in production to minimize bugs found by users
Respond with the right amount of urgency to issues escalated or bugs reported

Familiarity with agile software programming practices

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience building Frontend applications
Experience building mobile applications with ReactNative
Experience building pixel-perfect and mobile responsive frontend applications preferably with Tailwind CSS for styling
Solid understanding of Javascript/Typescript
Strong understanding of at least 2 frontend frameworks preferably React and NextJs and VueJs
You have an excellent understanding of adjacent domains and how they may affect the frontend architecture such as backend infrastructures and CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in writing automated tests such as unit integration and e2e tests
