Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Cover all aspects of accounting including but not limited to:
Preparation of monthly accrual recurring journal entries (Prepaid Depreciation Accrual)
Dropship billing
Navan (T&E expenses) review/audit
Sales taxes filing on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
Maintenanceof Corporate taxes and Excise taxes schedules
Bank Reconciliation
Yearly Financial Statements (Balance Sheet Profit & Loss)preparationin QuickBooks.
Ad hoc projects
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelorsdegree in accounting/financeis.
2-3years ofrelevantexperience in accounting
Knowledge ofaccounting systems (Elite Cognos BC Dynamics) and T&E (Navan (former Trip Actions)) is helpful
Knowledge of QuickBooks is.
Advanced Excel skills(Pivot V-Lookup)high levelofproficiencywith other Microsoft Officeapplications
Basic accounting understanding isa must.
Strong communication both written and oral
Superior organizational skills detail oriented must be able to manage multiple priorities and meetdeadlines
Self-Starter;Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic fast-paced team-oriented atmosphere.
Understandsaccuracy/timelinesswhen handling funds.
Industry knowledge a plus
Salary Range: $65-70k annual
