Job Summary
A Control Center Operator is responsible for monitoring and coordinating electric system operations dispatching field crews and maintaining accurate logs. Operates SCADA systems documents outages ensures compliance with regulations and supports emergency procedures. Acts as the communication link between control center and field personnel to maintain reliable service. Effective communication critical thinking organization and in-person presence at TCEC headquarters/territory are essential.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of power utility system components preferred. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of load management radio telecommunications equipment and SCADA systems is a plus.
