Job Summary

This is a full time 40 hour a week position; 4 ten hour days weekdays some holiday coverage required.

Qualified applicants should excel in interpersonal communication skills and must be reliable independent and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude. We are looking for a technician or assistant who has a passion for veterinary surgery and anesthesia. The Anesthesia Technician must have a strong technical background and knowledge of veterinary medicine and recognize the importance of conveying this knowledge and expertise to others. A qualified candidate must be willing to take an active role in the continuing education and training of other staff.

We guarantee additional pay for over time and on-call.

We provide a teaching environment for new graduates CVTs and VTS candidates.

We offer a stipend for national/international conferences for our Certified Vet Technicians.

COMPENSATION:

Veterinary Assistants starting $24-$29/hour
Certified Veterinary Technicians starting $27-$33/hr
Please note that candidates with additional experience or credentials may be eligible for compensation aligned with their qualifications. We have a $10000 for day shift for new hire full time Vet Assistants or Technicians in this department.
