Job Summary

ESS delivers the best hospitality and support services to remote and Defence sites across Australia. From mess halls to accommodation and recreation facilities our teams keep Defence communities running smoothly every day.

As the Hospitality Manager you will beresponsible fordriving all aspects of service excellence across their operational business area including brand integrity quality compliance and service standards. You will champion and embed service excellence initiatives across your site and ensure that all catering services are aligned to the Defence client and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for H&S financial reporting and rostering
  • Communicate and work collaboratively with the client on all aspects of delivering a quality service
  • To promote manage and deliver functions and hospitality including planning menus and costing in conjunction with the catering teams when required.
  • Build and leverage effective stakeholder relationships to achieve business objectives
  • Catering at a high level for events and functions (internal and external stakeholders)
  • Quality delivery and oversight of residential boarding requirements
  • Personally develop every team member by listening coaching supporting and encouraging them to optimize performance
  • Oversight of the administrative functions associated within your responsibility remit
