This opportunity sits in our London office working for Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) the division of Westpac which services the needs of our corporate institutional and governmental clients.
How will I help
The Funds Product Onboarding(FPO) Case Management Team plays a critical role in ensuring the organization remains compliant with multiple regulatory requirements safeguarding the banks reputation and financial assets.
Operating in close partnership with Relationship Managers Product Fulfilment Global Derivative Reform Team Credit Legal and Compliance the team delivers efficient and timely onboarding of new and existing fund client relationships to Westpac.
The Case Management Team is responsible for managing Front Office relationships for business requests related to Fund Onboarding Westpac Australia CIB FM Onboarding and Remediation activities.
As an Analyst you will manage the end-to-end client onboarding process ensuring all due diligence documentation is accurately sourced and delivered to the WIB Operations teams for completion. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement attention to detail and a proactive approach to meeting compliance and operational standards.
Key responsibilities
Operate as the primary point of contact for Relationship Managers and clients to coordinate fund client onboarding collaborating closely with both to collect all required documentation and supporting evidence to meet KYC duediligence requirements. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on KYC and regulatory obligations you will guide clients through documentation variations and compliance expectations while monitoring and following up with WIB Operations teams to ensure onboarding is completed within agreed timelines.
