Orka Financial is recruiting for a Junior Management Accountant to join their clients growing Finance team based in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of accounting tasks while developing your career towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA).
Youll play a key role in supporting daily finance operations and contributing to the smooth running of the team.
- Support the Finance team with day-to-day accounting activities and transactions.
- Manage and process invoices ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Reconcile bank accounts cashbooks and petty cash.
- File and maintain supplier and financial records in an organised manner.
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end quarter-end and year-end processes including fixed assets depreciation overheads accruals and prepayments.
- Provide ad hoc support to the team and assist in ongoing projects.
Experience
- A recent Finance or Accounting graduate or someone with relevant experience looking to start a career in finance.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Eager to develop professionally and work towards ACCA or CIMA qualification.
