Overview

We are seeking an experiencedPerformance Analyst with NHS experienceto support performance insight and reporting across digital data and technology services.

This role focuses onlinking data to outcomes tracking delivery and benefits and providing clear performance insight to support decision-making across programmes platforms and products. You will work closely with delivery teams product managers and senior stakeholders to ensure performance data isaccurate meaningful and actionable.

The successful candidate will play a key role insupporting transparency governance and continuous improvement across services.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Analysis & Insight

• Develop maintain and enhanceperformance metrics dashboards and reportingcovering delivery outcomes benefits realisation and operational performance
• Analysecomplex datasets (including services such as the Personal Demographics Service)to identify trends risks and opportunities
• Translate complex data intoclear actionable insightsfor both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Provideregular and ad-hoc analytical insightto support planning prioritisation and investment decisions
• Support the definition and monitoring ofKPIs aligned to organisational objectives and national priorities

Reporting & Assurance

• Producehigh-quality performance reportsfor governance forums senior leadership and assurance processes
• Provide evidence to supportdelivery progress benefits tracking risks and dependencies
• Ensure reporting aligns withNHS England standards frameworks and DDAT best practice

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely withproduct managers delivery teams and senior leadersto understand information needs and performance requirements
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to promote a shared understanding ofservice performance and improvement priorities
• Present insights and recommendations clearly adapting communication for different audiences

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the development ofperformance frameworks analytical methodologies and reporting approaches
• Identify opportunities toautomate streamline or improve data collection and reporting processes
• Promote a culture ofevidence-based decision making and continuous improvement

Governance & Data Quality

• Ensure all analysis and reporting complies withinformation governance data protection and security requirements
• Maintain high standards ofdata quality consistency and transparency

Essential Experience

• Previous NHS experience (essential)
• Strong experience analysingcomplex datasets and performance data
• Experience producingperformance dashboards reporting and insightfor senior stakeholders
• Ability to translate data intoclear recommendations and actionable insights
• Experience working with stakeholders to defineperformance measures KPIs and reporting requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to managemultiple priorities and deadlines in fast-paced environments

Desirable Experience

• Experience working withindigital data or technology-enabled services
• Knowledge ofproduct-led delivery agile environments or service-based organisations
• Experience withperformance frameworks benefits realisation or assurance processes
• Experience working withinlarge-scale public sector organisations

Tools & Technologies

• Data visualisation and reporting tools such asPower BI or Excel
• Database querying tools such asSQL
• KPI design performance frameworks and metrics development
