Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide quality care and support to clients in Holly MI. As a Personal Care Assistant you will play a vital role in enhancing the daily lives of individuals by assisting with their personal and home care needs in a respectful and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing dressing grooming and mobility
- Help with light housekeeping tasks including laundry meal preparation and cleaning
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor and report any changes in clients health or behavior to the appropriate personnel
- Ensure the clients home environment is safe and comfortable
- Follow care plans and instructions from supervisors
Requirements
- Must have transportation to make it to the client home and back.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable compassionate and patient demeanor
- Must be able to pass a background check
