The Prior Authorization & Scheduling Coordinator will support the clinic and physician care team by providing administrative and patient care services.
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm out of our Hudson rheumatology clinic.
Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) a group of local medical practices owned and led by its physicians on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.
Essential Functions:
- Submitting tracking and following up on prior authorizations for infusion and specialty medications.
- Communicating with insurance companies providers and patients regarding PA status and requirements.
- Scheduling and updating infusion appointments in alignment with approved therapy plans.
- Ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR and maintaining compliance with clinic protocols.
- Serving as a liaison between the clinical team infusion center RNs providers and patients to support timely and efficient care delivery.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Administrative or medical office experience preferred
- Medical terminology knowledge strongly preferred
- Customer service experience
- Prior Authorization and scheduling experience preferred

- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing writing and handling documents.
- Occasional standing walking bending or reaching within the office environment.

- Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
- Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
- Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g. computer phone printer).
