Job Summary

The Prior Authorization & Scheduling Coordinator will support the clinic and physician care team by providing administrative and patient care services.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm out of our Hudson rheumatology clinic.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) a group of local medical practices owned and led by its physicians on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:

  • Submitting tracking and following up on prior authorizations for infusion and specialty medications.
  • Communicating with insurance companies providers and patients regarding PA status and requirements.
  • Scheduling and updating infusion appointments in alignment with approved therapy plans.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR and maintaining compliance with clinic protocols.
  • Serving as a liaison between the clinical team infusion center RNs providers and patients to support timely and efficient care delivery.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Administrative or medical office experience preferred
  • Medical terminology knowledge strongly preferred
  • Customer service experience
  • Prior Authorization and scheduling experience preferred

  • Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
  • Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g. computer phone printer).
