Job Summary

Position Overview

The role is for an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will report to the Transaction Services Supervisor based in the Mumbai office as well as work closely with the Group Finance Operations Manager based in London and the Finance team located in our Shanghai office.  

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Credit Control

  • Billing on a daily and monthly basis

  • Daily checking and posting of client receipts to accounting systems

  • Processing Sales Orders

  • Resolving queries both internally and externally around payments and outstanding invoices

  • Proactively managing and collecting client receipts. 

  • Working with key senior stakeholders within the business and across our client portfolio to maintain good working relationships and best practices. 

  • Maintaining and improving targets around collections sales order processing times and query resolution times. 

  • Reporting to the Management Accounts team on a fortnightly basis regarding debtor status 

  • Providing global AR cover when required 

  • Working on process improvement and suggesting target areas that can be automated to drive efficiency. 


Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of experience working in an Accounts Receivable role. 

  • Comfortable working US hours shift 2-3 days/week. 

  • Be systems orientated and quick to pick up new processes. Experience using Netsuite would be an advantage. Confidence working across financial SaaS systems. 

  • Well organised with a high attention to detail

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop a rapport with our Sales and Account Management departments as well as external clients

  • Target driven to achieve team KPIs and SLAs

  • Experience handling confidential/sensitive information with discretion

  • Excellent problem solving skills
