Senior Product Analytics Specialist (Mixpanel Expert)

Location: Pune India

Working hours: 2 days / week on CET timezone

Join our high-impact team as a dedicated Product Analytics Specialist to unlock user behavior within our global e-commerce platforms.

Are you passionate about understanding how users interact with digital products We are seeking a specialist to dive deep into user journeys within our e-commerce platform translating raw online behavior into actionable insights that drive product feature adoption usage and conversion.

You will collaborate closely with product CRO and UX teams worldwide to ensure we are building the right features and continuously optimizing the user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the internal Mixpanel Champion by building maintaining and analyzing all product-centric dashboards (e.g. funnel analysis flow reports) to measure feature success and detect user friction.

  • Own the end-to-end analysis of all key e-commerce funnels (e.g. Search to Product Product to Cart Checkout completion). Identify specific drop-off points and provide our CRO Ecom and UX teams worldwide with precise recommendations for improvement.

  • Partner with Product and CRO leadership to help define the A/B testing roadmap and influence product strategy by providing quantitative insights before development not just analyzing features after release.

  • Analyze the usage adoption rate and retention of new and existing e-commerce features providing quantitative evidence to guide the product roadmap and development priorities.

  • Conduct proactive exploratory analysis to uncover hidden user behavior patterns friction points and opportunities for growth that are not part of pre-defined dashboards or funnels.

  • Act as a heavy consumer of web analytics by continuously utilizing monitoring and validating data streams. Proactively identify troubleshoot and flag any data discrepancies with the appropriate teams to ensure all analyses are built on a trusted and accurate foundation.

  • Champion a data-driven culture by training and enabling key stakeholders to self-serve simple data questions freeing this role to focus on complex high-impact strategic analyses.


Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of demonstrable experience in a dedicated Product Analytics role preferably within a high-growth e-commerce environment.

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Engineering Statistics Economics Computer Science) from a reputed institution.

  • Expert Proficiency in Mixpanel: Deep hands-on experience using Mixpanels advanced features including segmentation Funnels Flows Retention and advanced JQL/properties.

  • Product Thinking: A strong understanding of e-commerce platform development lifecycles and a passion for using data to influence product design and user experience.

  • Analytics Fundamentals: Solid experience in A/B testing methodology cohort analysis and statistical significance.

  • Storytelling with Data: Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into a clear compelling narrative for non-technical stakeholders driving consensus and action.


Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience with SQL for data querying and validation.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Looker Power BI).

  • Prior experience with other web or product analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics Amplitude Pendo Heap).

  • Demonstrated experience in working in an international environment
